What a beautiful blog and thank you. It brings me back to memories of our keiki and when we were able to hold him in our arms. It's true that the gift of the atonement and the knowledge of the resurrection help us heal and grow in faith. Although I miss our son, my faith in these things and the strength of our marraige has grown. Love, Melinda
On September 4, 2004, our son, Parker Daniel Rowley was born still. My pregnancy was full-term and had been completely healthy and normal. Parker weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was beautiful and perfect.
All Parker needed was to get a body to finish his mortal journey. I feel honored that I could give him that.
Although losing Parker was and is very difficult, we feel overjoyed knowing that we will be reunited with him again. This blog is a way for us to express our ups and downs in the process of grieving and also a way for us to remember Parker.
Thank you for reading it. Please feel free to comment.
"I would rather have thirty minutes of wonderful, than a lifetime of nothing special."
-Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias
Joseph Smith said:
"The Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth."
Little children shall be saved. They are alive in Christ and shall have eternal life. For them the family unit will continue, and the fulness of exaltation is theirs. No blessing shall be withheld. They shall rise in immortal glory, grow to full maturity, and live forever in the highest heaven of the celestial kingdom
The Prophets have said...
Joseph F. Smith said, "These little ones (stillborn babies) will receive a resurrection and then belong to us."
President Brigham Young: "When the mother feels life come to her infant, it is the spirit entering the body preparatory to the immortal existence." Mormon Doctrine by Bruce R. McConkie, page 768.

I can't wait either! We can hold our babies again. :) What a sweet reunion it will be.
Amen to that! I long for the day!
